The Toucan Project will work through a partnership model, providing grants to trusted partners with excellent reputations. Partners will identify students meeting eligibility criteria and will be selected and supported jointly by The Toucan Project and our partners.

The purpose of The Toucan Project is to support students to build or re-build better lives through access to educational, vocational training and internship opportunities.
Students supported will come from disadvantaged backgrounds and also have the potential to become leaders in their chosen fields. They will be known as Toucan Fellows.
The Toucan Project will work through a partnership model, providing grants to trusted partners with excellent reputations. Partners will identify students meeting eligibility criteria and will be selected and supported jointly by The Toucan Project and our partners.
In addition to making grants to partners, The Toucan Project will:
- Fundraise from corporate entities, charitable organisations and Individuals for co-funding of the Fellows on behalf of its partners, with any funding raised going directly to the partners to match funding provided by The Toucan Project.
- Provide coaching and pastoral care to students, where appropriate, in addition to any mentoring they will receive from the partner organisations.
